I will keep it short and sweet........

Went to the Garden Center today to spend Husband’s tokens for him………..we bought two lovely Griselinia Variegata to put in the front garden to add colour and to screen the neighbour…..as the fence has blown away That will be another short blog.
Spotted the end of an Autumn Hanging Basket mix, there were about six trays left, some of the plants were missing so we juggled them about and came away with this………

Two different Thymus, a lavender, pretty cyclamen, another ivy for the collection and a pansy, not bad for ยฃ7.99.

Lovely selection of plants you have there dotty. Griselinias, especially the variegated ones are my favourite evergreen shrub. My original one is 6' now and brightens my very shady winter garden considerably.
Happy bargain planting!

They survive up here DD variegated so much more interesting than the plain green ...sorry but Griselinia far too interesting for this shrub .

No idea what the latin is for dull evergreen but the non variegated surely qualifies.

My two variegated Griselina are not troubled unduly by frost, sometimes the tips get slightly blackened but it causes no long term damage.
