ENJOYING THE RAIN.........NOT REALLY?

I, knew today the weather was going to be horrendous, so decided to do all the jobs that I should have done months ago…..like spring clean the garden room, move the furniture around, that always cheers me up, it is like coming in to a new house, sort out all the bills, get rid of the rubbish throw away old mags so up-lifting, re-arrange all the inside plants, change the ornaments…..I now have a lovely pristine garden room all the plants look happy, and I am happy……….

If it had been another boring sunny day (lol) these jobs would not have been done……NB I DID NOT DO THE IRONING OR CLEAN THE OVEN, I draw the line at some things.
Now what about tomorrow well, tomorrow is another day!! and it is the final at Wimbledon, pity we shall miss it we will all be at the pub having our lunch!!
Posted a pic of the lilies outside the kitchen, how could I be downcast, these poor plants have taken a hammering today, never seen rain like it, more like the tropics than Hampshire England, but, will you look at them, shining out despite the weather.

Now this may not be your sort of fun day, but I say whatever floats your boat!!

Its amazing the jobs we are all getting done!! Usually save them up for winter afternoons Lol. Still when we get our heatwave we will not feel guilty about sitting in a comfy garden chair and sipping whatever 'floats our boats' . Lovely lilies Dd. Mine are still very tight budded.

Oooh, I love a good clear-out too A. I recently bought one of those steam cleaning gadgets and on Thursday, my bathroom was steamed to within an inch of it's existence! :D Such fun!

I`m usually miles behind inside at this time of the year Dotty, I`ve also amazed myself at the amount of cupboards and drawers I`ve sorted lately, lol.
Your Lilies are gorgeous, I think I`ve lost my red ones but the others are coming out now, I do love them....

Your lilies are looking fab, my orange lily is out in full glory and I've got other lilies that are loaded with buds, so looking forward to them making an appearance. Oh the oven, that's on my 'to do' list today lol.
