What weather we are having!!

Lovely rainbow :o)

I'm pleased your garden seems fine after the storms.
It was very wet and windy all around my gardens, but only one shrub in a pot was blown over, because I have most them in sheltered places for the winter. No harm was done to the shrub and that is now in a safe place.

I feel sorry for those with damage to houses, fences etc.
I was worried about my trellises etc. but everything held on .. thankfully !

What a beautiful photo Angela , we didn't have any damage here ,our daughter did at her house , the childrens trampoline took off smashing garden lights and pots she was unhappy about that !

Beautiful picture - awful weather too yes - it was very windy here but we missed the very worst - hope you're okay and everything nice and calm again :)))))))))))))))))))))))))

Wasn't it awful weather in the morning, Dotty? ... I stayed in and did lots of ironing ... kept looking out to see twigs from neighbour's Beech tree flying across our garden ... and that rain blocked the view at times ... let's hope it doesn't return! ... Are you used to the new view now ... without the tall hedge! ... :o)

Lovely rainbow photo, DD2. We had the same heavy rain/winds here over the last couple of days and nights and my garden looks very forlorn and very, very waterlogged. Never mind, I have learnt that come Spring all will be well :)

The awful weather seemed to be right across the country, we were in south Scotland and drove home down the M6.... bit scary, especially at the services I nearly got blown over....

What a beautiful sight Dd. We are still experiencing high winds here in the south, we lost tiles off our roof yesterday so thats another job that needs doing! It is very wild tonight.

Some damage here but nothing that can't be fixed. One of my shed's is in my neighbours garden and it took the fence with it!! Was out working in the pouring rain today trying to get on top of things - 2 hours soaked through and the wind and rain started again! I gave up and went indoors. I'll try again tomorrow.

Not much better here today the power is back on now but the sky is black and its still blowing well, we,re told it will calm down later.....

Sandra said it all for this part of the UK, its been bad all this morning aswell but the sun as at last come out and the wind is dropping now.

it was lovely after lunch carol and wind dropped as you said, not sure if its going to be bad tonight though :o(

Scottish sorry to hear about your shed, did you get it sorted? much quieter now, quite warm in the sun!!

Thanks for asking DD....yes - shed is now moved to a better position. My son brought round a couple of his mates this morning and moved it for me. Actually - the wind done me a favour it looks better up in the side garden by the fence :)
