NGS GARDEN NEAR STOCKBRIDGE.......BLOG ONE.

We are doing our best to support as many NGS gardens in Hampshire as we can, this is a large garden of which 1 acre has been landscaped with beautiful views to the river Test, here are the pictures……the Showman’s caravan is a dream and the planting was so inspiring especially the gravel areas which I fell in love with, if only!!

There were a few choice pieces of sculpture which were amusing.

The front garden was a picture, so much colour, and so much work!!

This was a beautiful garden in lovely countryside, but, so much hard work Penny had done an excellent job and the garden was packed with very happy people enjoying homemade cake……

These are just a few photos of a very well designed garden.

Cinders it was the 17th July, that would have been lovely to meet up again, I must remember to let you know when we visit a garden near to you. Teds there was so much seating I dont know where they all came from, could have borrowed them for the day perhaps? there were at least 40 members from the local WI, all seated!! Lincs it was a pleasure, Libet it was a glorious day out lunch at the local and a super garden. Shirley I know you would have been impressed. Michaella I would find this garden hard to look after without help, so large, KF Coshad, Sticki so pleased you liked it, about to put another one on for you all to view.

Good idea Tet, Dawn the flower is a clematis, we think it was Arabella (we grow it too, a lovely blue and lasts for ages) Karen the gravel garden was my favourite area, looked marvellous on such a huge scale, there were so many different areas it was quite difficult to capture, it was OHs camera and he has not the settings that I have on mine.
Frybo pleased you liked it.
