It seems extra cold here today.
My fingers can hardly move across the computer keys.
Check out photo and blog by Hywel of all his fuchsias brought indoors.
Really amusing. I hope his plants survive. He has made such efforts to save them. :o)

Do these require watering each day, or are their roots deep enough to find moisture ?

So nostalgic....my grandpa used to bring us plants to grow when I was growing up. This was the kind of begonia we always got. They were easy to grow for us kids.

COLDDDDDDDDDD here BURRRRRRRRRR! - 28c (-20 F)
You do look young, so do I if I paint my hair and shave off the white beard I look 35 too! We here are very polite too Delonix. I have been on sites where I was appalled at how rude others can be. I left many but it's made me more aware now. When I joined here in late Nov 2008 I was not perfect I had a few wee bumps in the road but I have adapted.

I hope you enjoy yourself my GOY friend and please feel free to send some of that warm air up here!

We're having a very cold winter this year. It's about -3 C at night and only rises to about 4 or 5 in the day. It's unusual for it to last this long here. It's usually about 9 or 10 C. I'll be glad to see the end of it.

Hi Delonix,
I had visitors from San Diego yesterday. They were the in-laws of my cousin's daughter. They said they'd really enjoyed being in England over the holiday but were looking forward to going home next Monday so that they could feel warm again. lol.

San Diego is gods city. It is so clean and beautiful there. I was there once and love to come back again. I would post more photos but 1.) my camera will probably screw up like it did last time I tried to take outside photos and 2.) you would be bored with all that white stuff.
