Hello DELBERT
Have you never tried Sodium Chloride
if you have an overgrown problem this will make life a lot easier for you.

Nasty job removing IVY , you should wear a mask as it upsets some people, little pieces from it get up your nose. but I imagine you are a long time gardener like myself and we are probably immune.

Delbert - did you kill the Ivy first? It is much easier to remove if you cut it off at the base, leave it for a few weeks to get dry and then pull it off. You could of course use chemicals at the base if you want to avoid re-growth. Poaanua - you are right, my husband gets severe reactions if he just touches Ivy, he comes up in angry looking red itchy blotches - Hives?
