Looks like you had a great time- love the way the traditional culture remains central to us, and what we do !!

You have a fab time!!

It is great with the grandchildren - they like to drink hot chocolate and toast marshmallows, i like to sit ,watch the fire with a rather nice glass of red wine( occasionally!!) when it is dusk.

Thanks - it was a lot of hard work, we had 2 ton of stone delivered on to the drive at the front of the house and carried it all through to the back of the house in buckets !!!! never again!!

Never thought of a proper "bog garden" - thankyou for the suggestions. I am off to the garden centre tommorow armed with me list of your suggested plants!! - let you know how we get on.
