On the way to our hotel we stopped in Windsor ~we left just as a storm was threatening.

but not before we took some photos in the station

or some picturesque buildings…

~thanks everyone ~really like Windsor! We do go quite a lot.
I it holds a special place in our affections as Caz took me down there on Mother's day 2005~just the two of us from Watford where she was doing her PHD~ and we saw her wedding dress in the window of a shop there~she was bowled over~she went in tried it on and left with it in a very large bag ~and as they say the rest is history!

Great place. This reminds me of one time we went there, when James was younger. He kept pointing to little old ladies and asking loudly "is she The Queen!? I'm sure he left with a feeling of disappointment thinking that HM was a train.
