A summer trip to Kew

By Arlene

We had a bit of time available before travelling home so we went to Kew Gardens for a few hours.
I was so pleased they had heard I was coming and had rolled out the red carpet…

Here are a few photos of my visit.

Lovely blog Arlene. The red carpet suits your demeanor. I think the yellow flower which you say you don't know the name of is a Phlomis.

Oh Arlene, 'if I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake', as I'm just down the road.
Lovely photographs, Kew changes so quickly and it's only a few weeks since I was there. Glad you had a good day.

Many Thanks for this, Arlene. I'll get to visit again, sometime, I hope. You deserve the "red carpet" treatment evry time you visit, lol! We used to also visit Petersham Nurseries in Richmond, it's very photogenic.
