~I need quite a few replacement pots~nice plastic or ceramic, not plain black~and have tried the local Wyevale and a gardencentre and the prices were quite high considering how many I need to buy.
Can anyone recommend some where where the prices are reasonable please>
many thanks
Arlene

Try Morrisons, they have some nice terracotta pots really cheap, and also some glazed pot sets I think £5 for 3.

Our local pound stretcher has had some plastic ones that didn't look too 'plastic y', if you know what I mean!

We have a garden centre that is just a local one, rather than a nationwide one, and their prices are very competitive. May-be you have one you could try?

Are you after ornamental pots or just ones for potting on etc? You could try e-bay or the private adds in your local paper. I get my cheapy plastic pots from Poundstretcher - cheapest anywhere. And they do big plastic containers too.

Beware cheap terracotta pots - they are totally destroyed by frost. - I know to my cost!

I spotted a lovely, large blue glazed pot in a charity shop today for £5 and I have picked up so many really nice pots that have been left out for the rubbish collection. I'm amazed at the things people throw away.

Wilkinsons have a good selection usually. - It's already been mentioned though.
Also the Pontarddulais Garden centre have a good selection of pots, but maybe a bit expensive.
