Another example of good service

We are often quick to moan about poor service, but this is an outstanding example of the opposite.

One of the shrubs on my ‘wants’ list is a prostrate version of an Australian shrub, correa reflexa. When the Easter weather forced me indoors, I found a supplier for it on Amazon. I placed the order on Saturday, the plant was dispatched on Monday, and arrived at Devonia yesterday lunchtime.

Not only was this excellent service, but what a plant!

It came with full instructions

So I can highly recommend Cross Common Nursery in Cornwall. They advertise themselves as the most southerly nursery in the country so I would recommend hardening off anything from them for a few days before planting it out, but I would have no qualms about buying from them again.

I’ll be checking their website again next spring.

I agree with you that we are always quick to complain but if you do receive good service then that deserves a mention, thank you or recommendation. I recently purchased a summer dress from a ladies clothes stores but it was rather wrinkled so I asked politely how/what the best way was to get them out. The shop assistant took the dress out the back steamed it for me and did a wonderful job! I later left feedback on their website about their professional and helpful manner. I happened to pop in there later and the lady in question came up to me to thank me as she got a promotion as a result of my positive feedback! :)

That is good service Andrew [and yes yours too Amsterdam]. Another nursery to have a gawp at :o)
We often complain about Parkers on here but the other week some marigold plugs arrived rather bashed about by the mail and when I rang to let them know of how the good plants were damaged they sent me another pack free. So Parkers have gone up in my estimation. I've never had a problem with their bulbs though.

I was also impressed at the one plant (Ive bought so many lately that I can't remember what it was!) I bought through Amazon. It was a good size and very healthy so I shall certainly buy from them again.
