As Feverfew has written a joke about rhubarb, I’ll add one about wheelbarrows.

Back in the days when there was a Cold War on, a man from Czechoslavakia was allowed to work in Austria, but he had to go home every night. So every morning, he crossed the border to work, and every evening he crossed back again, pushing a wheelbarrow full of soil. The border guards, being very suspicious and not having much else to do, emptied the soil out of the wheelbarrow every night, but found nothing. The man would refill his wheelbarrow and go off home. This went on for several years until the man was due to retire. On his last day, he crossed the border to work as normal, and came back again in the evening, pushing a wheelbarrow full of soil. The guards, as usual, found nothing. But being his last, day they asked him what he had been doing all these years, and why he always came back with a wheelbarrow full of soil. He replied, “I’ve been smuggling wheelbarrows.”
