Wet afternoon
Wet afternoon

I’m a plantaholic (what a wonderful disease) and I like to try and grow unusual plants. So I’ve spent this afternoon putting some of the things I grow on this website in the hope of inspiring some of you to try them as well. Feel free to contact me if you want to talk about any of them. So far, I’ve only put things on that are a bit different or that I’ve found tricky in the past but have now managed to get going. I’ve got something like 1000 different shrubs, perennials, climbers, bulbs and alpines so I probably won’t get round to including everything. And I’ve only listed plants I’ve had growing successfully for several years.
I’m in East Berkshire with a sheltered garden. The soil here is slightly acid but there are a mix of soil types – clay, loam and sand in various parts and I’ve also put rubble in one bed to make a stony area. This allows me to experiment with a lot of different plants (although there are some I can’t just seem to please)
PS. My garden is open under the NGS (hint, hint)

Whoa! 101 plants listed in your 'My Garden". If we had a prize you would get it :) This is exactly what we hoped the My Garden feature would be used for so we are very pleased to see you using it :)
