Chitted Nadine Potatoes (mid growers, so ready to go) free!!!

Posted on 8 Apr, 2008 2 comments

Hi to all UK gardeners who need some chitted potatoes, or indeed would just like another crop!! I have 33 tubers which have been chitted and are ready to plant in the next couple of weeks. The variety is Nadine and it is a ‘mid’ cropper and will take about 110 days to reach cropping stage.
I don’t know how to grow potatoes, this was going to be my first attempt but there is plenty of information about this variety on the internet/books, etc.
The reason for the give away is that we will be moving house the second week in July and the potatoes will still be growing then, and I am under strict instructions to start thinning out the plants/gardening chores.
If anyone would like them, i’ll box them up with plenty of tissue paper and packaging and post them off to you. There may be a couple of casualties, but there are 33 so you will be more than happy with what you get.
I don’t want any money for the tubers or the postage. Here are some photos
