Plants, cuttings growing much more attractive and larger than i expected. Rains miracle seems to be working on them fine. Wellies at the ready , brolly extended i waded down to my palace (Shed). Not a sound was heard from Bob the Robin in fact he and his companions were all tucked away in there nests and very quiet. Twas a job for Smooth radio and a search for my tools that my good lady had tidied away yesterday. How blooming exciting i thought as i opened my tool box and found the contents gone. More shelves to put up in the box room! it was a delight to find my tools neat and tidy in my 5 draw cabinet. I took time out to venture into the rain and to my Greenhouse and with great pleasure veiwed tomorrows (Sat) dessert . Yes my strawberrys are ready to meet the cream. Great life great Wife roll on saturday dinner(LoL). Take care all will show photo,s asap. Tony

Better luck than I'm having with the photos, Tony. That was a nice positive blog; most of us ( self included) are having a right old moan about the rain!

Hi Terra Hope crocus is fine. Tiny being just a little naughty at the moment. My sister looked after him (we had a few days down at freinds in Devon) who on earth hinted budgies don,t have feelings?. I am going to seek peace and forgivness by offering him a Banana and orange flavoured budgie stick after breakfast tomorrow(LoL). Take care hope the Doggies are in good health also. Tony

Rose you are so right. Its sad that so many people tend to miss natures pleasures . Its been very nice here today Rose but i had a few little jobs todo in my palace. Afraid my greenhouse is looking deserted except for my strawberry plants. With going away in Aug i had to limit my gh plants. Still its clean and tidy now. Hope your snail prob has reduced. Take care Tony

Hi terra I think Tiny is coming round now but we will be going away again in August so i hope he does,nt fret too much. Have to admit i miss him a great deal when we go away. Always get him plenty of make up pressys though. Terra if he can read i am in trouble he is on my left hand with his head on one side looking at my monitor. Crocus will have enjoyed the sport, he is a wise Budgie. Glad the doggies are in good health Terra they always look wonderful. Take care Tony

There's mountains of slugs Tony, not so many snails, but slugs..UGH!

Rose i wonder what benefit slugs are in the nature cycle?. Don,t like them at all, we also have a lot here. Maybe the birds eat them and i like the little robins ,sparrows and bluetits. At the moment the birds are extremeley quiet but they seem to do this now and again. All my wood projects are completed now. Starting tomorrow Rose ifeed my plants and hope they survive until sept. Looking forward to hols but they are having a not so good time in many of the states over their. Will miss goy and of course yourself Rose but time these days seems to go so quickley. Couple more weeks here yet though. Take care Rose Tony
