Birds very much in tune as i did a jig to the greenhouse. And i even got a warble from my whistling freind in my neighbours tree. Little chap always returns my whistle. So unusual but very nice, its a great way to start the garden chores. Last batch of plants now ready for putting in basket. Lookes like my garden cuttings can be put in the open also. This year i seem to have better quality cuttings than last. Your advice has been very valuable thankyou. I am now out of woodwork projects so i can put more time into my gardening. Greenhouse and Lawns top priority for the rest of this year. Take care all will have photo,s on GOY soon. Tony

Hallo stranger, it looks like we've both been missing for a while. Isn't lovely to hear the birds. We got a nice surprise this morning while having breakfast. A thrush was sat on the obelisk near the window. You've never got a camera ready when you need one, have you! I also walked into one part of the garden and a baby male chaffinch had just that moment flown out the nest. I panicked a bit as there were magpies hovering nearby in the trees and our cat walking by. I think the fear would have been from the magpies as our cats are too old to be bothered now.

Hi Rose Having breakfast with the birds sounds very P leasent. Hope the allotment is proving to be a jolly project. The Weather here is blinking awful. THe Ducks seem contented though and if the downpour continues the odd shark may pass my shed with a smile (LoL). Managed to plant up another basket in the greenhouse today (orchid pansies) but it was very windy, so i did,nt put it in the open. Hope the weather improves tomorrow Camera is at the ready Rose but your correct its not always like that. Nice to hear all is fine Take care Tony
