Tiny our budgie has been showing of to his toys. He sat on mr wobley , gave tweety pie a whack with his beak and attacked rocky the revolving woodpecker with great gusto. During this vicious assault i sprayed him to cool him down. The result was he loved it the little vandal. Our problem however is he will not go in his bath. We have tried seed , a mirror, even a walk in ladder in his bath but nope he just loves a spray. Does any one know how we can get him into his bath?. I have to be careful as he is looking at me as i type and at times my good lady and i think he can understand what we are thinking. Anyway we are hoping he cannot read (LoL). He is a down and out rotter but very lovable indeed, blimey i think he read that(LoL). Please take care enjoy Tony

What about a little budgie sized car/budgie wash? Although knowing Tiny, he would want a little budgie sized car to drive through it! Lol!! Keith has just suggested a budgie jacuzzi! He'd love the bubbles, but it wouldn't do for him to swallow the soapy water...imagine if he chirruped into a bubble and it floated off and landed on Lucy's nose and burst...she'd faint with shock!!

Could try putting some of Tiny's favourite toys in the bath ...
Always have the bath available early enough in the day that the feathers have time to dry out before evening... Good luck !

Hi sixpence Tiny has a transparent bath it fits on the outside of the cage. We put his favorite toy(His plastic dolley) in but he just looked at it in disgust. We are wondering if he could be royalty and awaiting us to hand him a towel and soap. He really is so moody at times. Thankyou though for the suggestion. Take care enjoy Tony

Thank You terratoonie your suggestion was very sensible . We tried it with his plastic dolly but alas to no avail. I think he is trying to wear us down but on that point he will not succed we put his bath on the cage at 9 am and take it off at 5pm. He really is very moody at times. Take care enjoy Tony

I D D D Don,t believe it, Elizabeth only you could think of a Budgie car car wash (LoL) please thank Keith the jacuzzi was a great idea. Me thinks perhaps their are two other people bordering on being as barmy as i(LoL). Elizabeth its times like this i find that i am not alone in the world. Tiny adores you both but not the Lucy part. Tony perhaps he thinks its a waste of his time, he much prefers a shower, taking a bath is less time for playing with his toys, or possibly he just likes to wind you up, lol...
