Been away for a while....

Hi everyone! I’ve missed all that’s going on and will have to read, read, read to catch up. My husband’s 91 yr. old mother (assisted care in a home) took a fall a couple of weeks ago (one of many…but never broke anything)...until now. Broke every bone in her wrist (surgery), 2 bones around her one eye…it’s been a time. My husband’s sister & husband flew in from California and have been staying with us. A very emotional, exhausting and touch and go situation. So, sis & hubby gone back to CA, mother holding her own for now and we’re getting back on track. It’ll take me a while to see what’s been happening on GOY. I’ve missed it.

I hope you'll be able to have some time for yourself now. You need it.
My mother has come to stay with me since last year and I can understand the worry and stress this must have caused you.

Thank you everyone for the "welcome back" and nice comments. I didn't mention my parents in Arizona (2000 miles away) are 86 and having promblems as well ! :( Trying to get them back to Michigan where we can be with them and help them...but, so far a "no go". All 3 at once! Eeeeek!
